Privacy Policy

Last updated July 2026

A Chronicle on Drug Abuse ("ACRDA," "we," "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to operate our programs and website:

  • Information you provide. Name, email, phone, and message content you submit through our contact, volunteer, or newsletter forms.
  • Donation information. Donations are processed by Every.org. ACRDA receives a limited donation record (amount, donor name/email if provided) but does not receive card numbers.
  • Usage information. Standard web logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) collected by our hosting provider for security and performance.

How we use information

  • To respond to your inquiries and provide the resources you request
  • To send our newsletter, when you subscribe
  • To recognize donors and issue tax receipts (through Every.org)
  • To improve our website and educational content
  • To comply with legal obligations

Sharing information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with the vendors strictly needed to operate our programs (for example, Every.org for donation processing, and our email newsletter platform), and when required by law.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in every email. You can request that we access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing info@crdra.org.

Children

Our website is designed for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No system is 100% secure, and we encourage you to send sensitive information through secure channels only.
